Welcome to my blog. I am an older American who is at retirement age, but I find that my desire to assist America to stay free is taking up more time now that we have lost President Trump to a growing leftist Marxist state.

I am a veteran, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a christian, and a patriot.

I spend time reviewing both sides of an issue and sharing my thoughts and analysis with you from time to time.

I began blogging during the George W. Bush presidency and started vetting Barack Obama as he ran for president. Since the main stream media fully adopted the leftist candidate then as they have with Biden, the chore of researching these candidates was left to resourceful patriots.

I credit my son Todd who we lost in 2004, with giving me the desire to turn my time and resources toward politics. You see that without strong patriots in political positions up and down the ballot, we cannot maintain our American values, Constitution, laws and customs. I began with The Conservative Speaker blog, and now I have created the Old Gray Patriot blog as Biden begins his reign. A big lie (German: große Lüge) is a “gross distortion or misrepresentation of the facts, especially when used as a propaganda device by a politician or official body”. The expression was coined by Adolf Hitler, when he dictated his 1925 book Mein Kampf, about the use of a lie so “colossal” that no one would believe that someone “could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously”.
